This functionality is a suitable choice for users who have many workstations of the same kind and wish to automatically assign jobs to the available workstations depending on workstation type.

After introducing a workstation type, users must assign it to the appropriate workstation and set it in the BOM for the appropriate operation.

GoTo the Workstation in order to change the Workstation Type.

To set the Workstation Type on the BOM GoTo

Home > Manufacturing > Workstation > Add BOM > Select Workstation Type against Operation

When a user creates a work order with operations after setting up the workstation type, the system creates job cards for the operation and sets the available workstations based on the workstation type established in the BOM.
