Linking stock warehouse and accounts

It is necessary to keep track of the stock value kept in the warehouses.

With the "Account" field in the warehouse, each warehouse is connected to a ledger in the chart of accounts.

When a warehouse's Account field is blank, the Account indicated in the warehouse's parent is taken into account. The Default Inventory Account specified in the Business record is taken into consideration if an Account could not be found by following the hierarchy.

A ledger called "Stock In Hand" is automatically produced in the Chart of Accounts when a firm is created.

Chart of Accounts > Assets > Current Assets > Stock Assets > Stock In Hand.

If necessary, you can add more ledgers to the "Stock Assets" group.
