Customizing Module Visibility
Customizing Module Visibility
ERPNext is a system that can be utilized by numerous companies of all sizes. Manufacturing, education, and retail are some of the industries that have benefited the most from the system's usefulness.
The system's usefulness for various businesses has been mapped into several "Modules," which are represented in the system as "Cards," keeping in mind the needs of all types of business owners. Similar to how the main system modules are represented by several cards on the dashboard, such as Human Resources, Accounting, CRM, etc.
Based on their business case, each ERPNext account holder can choose to alter the display of the various modules.
For testing the visibility of modules in Version 12, go to Show / Hide Modules in the top right corner of the home screen.
Please take note that modules are automatically hidden for users who lack access to the documents included within them. For instance, the "Buying" module will be automatically hidden for a User whose permissions on Purchase Order, Purchase Request, or Supplier are not enabled.
The following could be reasons why a module is not viewable even though you have authorization to see it.
Take into account the possibility that a user has access to the Website module but is unable to use it.
Make sure that user has the "Website Manager" role assigned to them as a minimum need. This typical Role grants access to the Website module. If your account has customized permissions, check Role Permission Manager to determine which Role has access to the Website, and then verify that the User has the same Role allocated to them.
Also, you should verify that the user has the necessary module enabled in the settings section under "Allow Modules."
