Record Commission to Sales Partner
The Sales Invoice, Order, and Delivery fields in ERPNext can be used to record the Commission to Sales Partner. Keep in mind that this is used to record the partner's sales commission, which is not yet affecting the accounting. The Sales Partner Commission or Sales Partner Commission Summary Report in ERPNext can be used to check the Sales Partner Commission.
Create a Supplier* with the name of the Sales Partner, designate a Supplier Group* as the Sales Partner, and assign it to the Supplier in order to pay the Sales Partner.
When you are finished creating a Supplier, you may make a Payment Entry in the Sales Partner Commission Report against the outstanding sum.
- Why Supplier Group and Suppliers? Creating a Supplier facilitates applying taxes and other fees (if applicable against the Sales Partner). Your Suppliers and Sales Partners can be distinguished using the Supplier Group.
