Clinical Procedures Template
Clinical Procedures Template
To make the procedure creation process easier, ERPNext Healthcare lets you set templates with different clinical procedure features. When you construct a Clinical Process for a Patient, you don't have to enter the consumables, rates, and associated items each time. Instead, you can create templates.
1. How to Create a Clinical Procedure Template
By visiting to: you can build new Clinical Process Templates.
Home > Healthcare > Consultation Setup > Clinical Procedure Template
- Enter a unique name for the Template.
- For billing purposes, the Clinical Process Template automatically creates an item associated to it. Enter an Item Code, Item Group, and Description for the item as a result.
- Choose if you want to conduct the clinical procedures for a specific medical department.
- If you want to charge the procedure as a knee surgery, check "Is Billable". Establish a rate for the Process if you check this. Perhaps you shouldn't charge for services like wound cleaning.
- Save.
2. Features
2.1 Automatic Item Creation for Templates
You can control the billable item, rate, etc. for a specific procedure using templates. When a template is saved, the system immediately produces an Item associated to it.
If necessary, you can use the Change Item Code button to alter the Item Code associated with the Process.
2.2 Manage Procedure Consumables
You can set the consumable Stock Items that will be required during the Process in the Consumables section so that they will be preloaded in the Clinical Procedures developed using the template. The performing practitioner can readily input the amounts that have been consumed or add new items that have been consumed during the process thanks to this.
2.3 Invoice Consumables Separately
The costs for the consumable Items will be included to the sales invoice separately in addition to the procedure's "Billing Rate" if the "Invoice Consumables Separately" option is selected.
2.4 Configure Sample Collection
Keep in mind that, if necessary, "Sample Collection" can also be enabled for a clinical procedure.
