The Delayed Tasks Summary report aids in locating tasks that have run over their anticipated completion dates.

The Task Doctype is used to generate the report.

Calculation of Delay When a task's status is updated to Finished, a date field named Completed On becomes available.

The delay is determined as the difference between the Completed On and the Expected End Date in Scenario 1 if a task is marked as Completed and the Completed On field is set.

Situation 2

The delay is determined by subtracting the current date from the expected end date if the Finished On field is left blank.

Chart On the basis of the data produced after the filters were applied, the chart displays the number of tasks that are On Track or Delayed.
