Workstation
Information about the location where workstation operations are performed is stored on a workstation.
Here, information about the overhead costs, rent, and power can be kept.
Note: An Operation can take place at multiple Workstations.
At a Workstation, an Operation happens. The Workstation is the location or piece of equipment where the Operation is completed. Melting is one Operation that can be performed at ten separate Workstations, for instance.

1. How to create a Workstation
- Click New from the Workstation list.
- Give the Workstation a name.
Provide the following information as necessary under Operational Costs:
- Electricity Cost
- Rent Cost
- Consumable Cost
- Wages
- Save.
You have the option of providing a description for the Workstation.
You can include the workstation's operational hours. When adding a holiday list, the days marked as holidays won't be included in the workstation's calculation of hours worked.
The Workstation can be subject to the following operations after being saved:
2. Features
2.1 Production Capacity
The total number of jobs that can be completed simultaneously at a given workstation is its production capacity.
2.2 Working Hours
You can enter the beginning and ending times for a Workstation under the Working Hours table. For illustration, a workstation might be operational from 9 am to 1 pm, followed by 2 pm to 5 pm. Moreover, you can define the working hours in terms of shifts. The system will check the Workstation's availability based on the stated working hours when scheduling a Work Order.
2.3 Holiday List
- To prevent the Workstation from counting certain days, a Holiday List can be included.
