Perm Level Error

You can see the following error notice while you customize rules in the Permission Manager:

For System Manager (or any other role) at level 2 (or another level) in Customer (or any other document) in row 8: Permission at level 0 must be set before higher levels are set.

An issue with the current permission settings for this document is indicated by the error message.

Any role must first assign authorization at Perm Level 0 before assigning permission at Perm Levels 1 or 2 (and so on). System Manager has been granted authority at Perm Levels 1 and 2, but not at Level 0, according to the error message. You should initially amend the System Manager role's permission by:

  • granting System Manager level 0 authorization.

    Or

  • by eliminating level 1 and level 2 permission.

You ought to be able to successfully add new permissions rules to the Role Permission Manager after carrying out one of the aforementioned processes.
