Medical Code

The Medical Code Standard document serves as a container for all the medical codes that are standardized under the Code Standard and is used to identify the Code Standard. ICD (International Classification of Diseases), for instance, is a standard for medical codes, and ICD-10 codes are alphanumeric and have 3–7 characters. Each code is a medical code that provides a thorough description of a specific diagnosis.
