Salary structure and Payroll
Salary structure and Payroll
Use case 1: What if each employee was given a single salary structure?
It is better to construct a structure for all employees in an organization, regardless of their salaries, if only one pay structure needs to be assigned. But, we can establish a formula on which actual compensation structures can be distributed to each person in an organization.
Choose the Earning or deduction component under Salary Structure. Mix formula

Each employee's wage will be determined separately based on their monthly earning in this manner.
Use case 2: What happens if not all of the employees are required to be fetched while creating a payroll but only a subset of them?
In most cases, there is a button that says "Get Workers" that, when clicked, retrieves all of the employees while processing a paycheck.
It is preferable to select the employees by filtering on the basis of department, branch, or designation in cases where there is only a selected list of employees for whom payroll needs to be generated. In this way, only the selected list of employees falling under the specific filter will be chosen for payroll.
