Patient Encounter

Patient Encounter

ERPNext Healthcare allows you to record every encounter with patients through the Patient Encounter document. Another option is to build a Patient Encounter on an appointment that has already been scheduled.

1. How to Create a Patient Encounter

To create a Patient Encounter, go to:

Home > Healthcare > Consultation > Patient Encounter

  1. To name the document's series, choose one.
  2. Patient information, Department information, Healthcare Practitioner information, etc. will all be obtained automatically if you choose an appointment.
  3. Otherwise, you can pick a Patient on your own. Patient information will be retrieved.
  4. Choose the Medical Professional. The Department will automatically be retrieved.
  5. Date and time the encounter.
  6. Under the section titled "Encounter Impression," choose Symptoms and Diagnosis. By selecting "In Print," you can choose to print the Patient Encounter with the gathered data.
  7. Save.

With the Create > Patient Encounter option, you may also generate and record encounter details for a patient from the Patient Appointment, the Patient Encounter, or the Patient master records. You can look for a patient by name, email, phone number, or other details if you're manually establishing a patient encounter.
