Plaid Integration

Plaid Integration

Via a service called Plaid, ERPNext gives you the option to link your bank accounts. To find out if your nation is supported, please consult the Plaid FAQ.

You can synchronize your bank account transactions if your instance is linked to Plaid without manually importing a CSV or XLSX file.

Settings You must provide the following three options in your site config.json file to allow ERPNext access to Plaid.

  • plaid_env
  • plaidpublickey
  • plaid_secret

Activation Click the "Enable" button in the Plaid Settings DocType to turn Plaid on for an instance.

After activation, the Bank Reconciliation dashboard will allow you to open a new account.

Bank account creation

Click "Connect a new bank account" and adhere to Plaid's instructions to join one of your current bank accounts to ERPNext.

Bank synchronization Choose the account you want to synchronize with ERPNext, then click the "Action" button and choose "Synchronize this account".

The "Latest integration date" mentioned in the "Bank Account" doctype serves as the basis for the synchronization.

You can alter this date and synchronize the account once again if you ever wish to redo a synchronization. The synchronization will only be incremental because each bank transaction is identified by a distinct transaction ID.

Automatic Synchronization By choosing "Synchronize all accounts every hour" in Plaid Options, you can permit plaid to synchronize your bank account with ERPNex every hour.
