Donor

A individual, group, or government that makes a voluntary donation is referred to as a donor. The word is occasionally used when the payment for a service is acknowledged by all parties to be less than the value of the donation and that the motivation is altruistic, even though it often refers to a form of pure altruism. A donee is the person receiving the gift, and a donor is the person giving it, according to business law.

You can enter the Donor information using the Donor doctype.

Donor are merely contacts having one or more Donations in your ERPNext database. The contact can be a person, a home, a business, or another sort of contact subtype, but it must always be someone to whom a gift is applied.
