An employee's attendance is a record that indicates whether or not they were there on a given day.
With the Attendance doctype in ERPNext, you may mark and track an employee's daily attendance.

1. Prerequisites
It is recommended that you first create the following before producing an attendance record:
Employee
Shift Type
2. How to create an Attendance
1.Click New from the Attendance list.
2.Decide on the Employee.
3.Date of Attendance should be chosen.
4.Choose Shift (optional).
5.Choose the Status (Present, Absent, On Leave, Half Day).
6.Publish and save.
