Asset Maintenance
Asset Maintenance refers to any activity done on Assets to maintain their performance or condition.
Geer ERP capabilities allow you to keep track of the specifics of each maintenance or calibration operation performed on an asset, including the date, the person who did it, and the next maintenance deadline.
To carry out asset upkeep in Geer ERP:
- From the Asset master, enable "Maintenance Required."
- assemble a team for asset maintenance.
- Establish the Asset Maintenance.
- The creation of an asset maintenance log.
- Make a log for asset repairs.

2. How to create Asset Maintenance
Make a record for each asset's maintenance that includes all of the associated tasks, the type of maintenance (such as calibration or preventive maintenance), the frequency, who is responsible for it, and the start and finish dates of the maintenance. A to do is generated for the Assignee and the next due date is automatically calculated based on the start date and periodicity.
- Click New from the Asset Maintenance list.
- Choose the Asset.
- The Asset Maintenance Team should be chosen.
In the table, include maintenance tasks.
- If maintenance is "planned," "overdue," or "cancelled," set the status accordingly.
- Choose the frequency at which the assignment must be completed. The following due date will be determined.
- Save.
- You can assign the assignment to a user after saving.
You can input the Serial Number if the Item is serialized.
3. Features
3.1 Maintenance Tasks
- Maintenance Type: Whether this is a "Preventive" maintenance task or a "Calibration" to get everything working correctly again.
- Start and End Date: Set the start date and finish date for the maintenance, respectively.
- Last Completion Date: The actual date of maintenance might be entered here if it wasn't performed on time or before the scheduled date.
3.2 Asset Maintenance in To Do
When a user is given maintenance, it will show up on their list of things to accomplish.
