Paytm Integration
Transaction processing with the payment gateway provider Paytm is made possible through Paytm integration.
Processing payments between the Paytm payment site and ERPNext is made easier by Paytm Integration. Customers can use any credit or debit card, UPI, net banking, or the Paytm wallet to make payments.
Go to: to install Paytm.
Integrations > Payments > Paytm Settings
1.How to get your Paytm API credentials?
- You must sign into your Paytm account in order to activate your API credentials.
- After that, select Developer Settings from the sidebar.
- Choose the API Keys option; a list of two sorts of API information (Test/Production) should appear.
- The credentials that you should use in Paytm Settings are those that are stated in the Production API specifications.
2.Setting up Paytm You need to configure all the necessary parameters that you were given by Paytm in order to enable the Paytm payment service. You can choose the staging option and utilize the test API developer credentials provided by Paytm if you want to use the integration's staging environment.
As seen in the following snapshot, the system will create a Payment Gateway record and an Account Head in the Chart of Account when the Paytm integration is enabled in ERPNext. The Account type for the Account Head is set to Bank.
Moreover, a Payment Gateway Account entry will be created. Payment Gateway Account is the configuration hub from where you can set Account Heads and the default Payment Request email template for seeking payments from clients.
You can use Paytm to accept online payments after setting up your Payment Gateway Account.
3.Supporting transaction currencies Only businesses using INR (Indian Rupee) as their company currency can use Paytm.
