Stock Level report list stock item's quantity available in a particular warehouse.

There are multiple reports available you can check for item's stock level.

Stock Projected Quantity Report

This report is available under Stock > Main Report > Stock Projected Quantity.

This report shows the item's stock level, item-by-warehouse, taking into account all stock transactions. Together with the item's actual quantity, it also provides information like:

  1. Real Quantity: Amount on hand at the warehouse.

  2. Planned Quantity: The number of units for which a work order has been placed but which have not yet been manufactured.

  3. Requested Qty: A desired but unordered quantity for a purchase.

  4. Amount that was ordered for purchase but was never delivered.

  5. Amount that has been ordered for sale but has not yet been delivered.

  6. Project Quantity is determined as follows:

Actual Quantity = Intended Quantity + Requested Quantity + Ordered Quantity - Reserved Quantity The planning system uses the predicted inventory to calculate the reorder quantity and monitor the reorder point. The planning engine uses the predicted Quantity to keep track of the safety stock levels. These levels are kept up to handle unforeseen needs.

To identify shortages and decide the appropriate order amount, it is essential to maintain strict control over the predicted inventory.
