Shareholder
Shareholder
An owner of Company shares is referred to as a shareholder.
Any individual, business, or other organization that holds at least one share of a company's stock is referred to as a shareholder. Due to the fact that shareholders are a company's owners, they profit from its triumphs through rising stock value. If the business performs poorly, shareholders could lose money if the value of the shares drops.
The shareholders are liable to the company since they own any profit or loss that the company makes.
You can keep track of all your shareholders with the help of ERPNext, which also lets you manage share transfers, share ledgers, and share balances. The Shareholder ID serves as a unique identifier for a shareholder. This ID often has a Name Series that begins with "ACC-SH-." A Folio number is also assigned to the Shareholder as soon as he completes even a single transaction. The Shareholder is the only one who has this.
