Inpatient Record
With this document, ERPNext Healthcare records all information regarding a patient admission.
When a doctor orders an admission, an inpatient record is automatically established; you can find it by going to,
Healthcare > Patient Care > Inpatient Record
With the Schedule Admission option, a healthcare professional can request a patient admission from the Patient Encounter document. The Patient with Admission Scheduled status will have an Inpatient Record created automatically as a result. The IP admission officer can then assign the Patient a free room based on the referring physician's recommendation in the admission order.
The Inpatient record will contain all information specified by the Practitioner in the admission order, and the dashboard will link to all additional documents created throughout the admission time. You are also permitted to create new documents directly from the dashboard.
Note: By default, field level permissions are set up such that only users with the enabled roles of Physician and Nursing User can see diagnosis information, admission instructions, and other details.
