Sample Collection
Sample Collection
It's critical for a Laboratory to manage collected samples and print labels for those samples, automate sample collection, etc.
1. How to create a Sample Collection
To create a Sample Collection go to
Home > Healthcare> Laboratory > Sample Collection > New Sample Collection
- Type the patient's name here. All patient information will be automatically obtained.
- In the Sample area, choose the Lab Test Sample. The Lab Test Sample Master can be configured to meet your needs. The Lab Test Sample doc is immediately queried for the Sample UOM.
- Set the amount of the sample that was taken.
- In the "Collected By" field, choose the person who took the sample.
- In the "Collected On" section, provide the date and time that samples were collected.
- Save and Submit.
2. Features
2.1 Sample Collection automation
By turning on the "Create Sample Collection document for Lab Test" option in Healthcare Settings and configuring samples in the Lab Test Template, you may also automatically create Sample Collection documents for each Lab Test.
2.2 Sample labeling
In ERPNext, sample identification tags may also be printed. A print format called "Sample ID Print" is made available by default, but if necessary, you can always manually alter it using the Print Format Builder or even develop a new Print Format. The "Number. of prints" box in the Sample Collection document must be set to the number of labels that are necessary. As a result, the print view will generate a large number of labels.
