Setting up PayPal

A payment gateway is an online application service provider that allows credit card payments for brick-and-mortar stores, online merchants, brick-and-mortar enterprises, and e-businesses.

An information exchange between a payment portal (such as a website, mobile app, or interactive voice response service) and the front end processor or acquiring bank is facilitated by a payment gateway.

Setup PayPal

You must configure parameters like API Username, API Password, and Signature in order to activate PayPal payment service.

You can also configure the settings for a test payment environment. Usage Sandbox

When a service is enabled, the system creates a Payment Gateway record and an Account head with a Bank account type in the chart of accounts.

Moreover, a Payment Gateway Account entry will be created. You can set the account head from an existing COA and the default Payment Request email body template using the Payment Gateway Account, which serves as the configuration hub.

Your system can now accept online payments after service has been enabled and Payment Gateway Account has been configured.
