Using Custom Domain On Geer ERP
If you have a Geer ERP plan subscription, you may ask us to serve your website on a custom domain (for instance, http://example.com). This makes it possible for a custom domain to serve your website.
You must first make the following changes to your domain's DNS settings in order to enable this feature.
- Create a CNAME record for youraccountname.erpnext.com for a subdomain (usually www).
- Instead of setting a CNAME record, use a URL redirect to http://www.example.com if you want to offer the website on a naked domain (such as http://example.com). Making a CNAME record in this situation may have unintended implications, such as making it impossible for you to receive emails.
Once the DNS records have been set up, you must submit a support request by sending an email to support@erpnext.com, and we will handle the rest.
Note: On custom domains, we do not support HTTPS. Enabling end-to-end encryption with HTTPS (from your browser to our server). Use of the Geer ERP software over an unencrypted protocol is strongly discouraged, despite the fact that it is not essential for the website. Always utilize the ERP at your erpnext.com address to be safe.
